Aubrey Logan
A Billboard #1 recording artist (Dave Koz & The Summer Horns’ From A to Z), Montreux Jazz Voice winner, and Berklee alumna, Aubrey Logan is a magnetic force at the crossroads of soul, jazz, and pop. With a voice that soars and a trombone that sings, she transforms every song and every stage into something unmistakably her own.
Raised outside Seattle by two music-educator parents, Aubrey grew up steeped in the craft of great songwriting (Billy Joel, Carole King) and the horn-driven energy of Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Steely Dan. She picked up the trombone at twelve and never looked back, developing a signature blend of warm, expressive vocals, fearless scatting, and jaw-dropping brass interplay.
Career highlights speak for themselves: a #1 Billboard Contemporary Jazz album with Dave Koz & The Summer Horns, acclaim from DownBeat as a top trombonist, world tours with Postmodern Jukebox and Dave Koz, and headlining appearances with major orchestras including the Seattle Symphony, Boston Pops, and Cincinnati Symphony. Her own release Where the Sunshine Is Expensive cemented her status as a songwriter and arranger with a voice and vision built to last.
Never content to repeat herself, Aubrey is leveling up her sound with her first big-band project, Aubrey Logan & Her Bigger Than Average Band, reimagining originals and favorites for full horn sections and rhythm ensemble. Recent singles (including a swaggering “Route 66” — Big Band Version) showcase her playful virtuosity and love of classic grooves with a modern pulse.
Now based in Austin, Texas, Aubrey tours internationally, captivating audiences with wit, heart, and high-octane musicianship. Whether fronting her own band, leading a roaring big band, or stepping into the spotlight with a symphony, she brings the same promise every night: music that surprises, delights, and absolutely lifts the room.
